A now discontinued film format – But we are still able to process your old stock.
Film processing has long been the heart of DS Colour Labs, and although time and technology have moved forward… film is still an extremely popular option for many photographers. Whether you are just getting started in film or you have any specific C41 requests – you can be sure that our friendly team will always be on hand to assist you.
All films are monitored throughout the day through the Fuji Oasis Quality control system. All photos are printed on Fuji C-Type Professional Photo Paper using Fuji Frontier Printers. Our quality and service is second to none.
With services ranging from ‘Development Only’ through to ‘Standard’ scans – you are sure to find the service which you require.
Our simple 3-step ordering process means that there is no ‘back n forth’, with payment or order chasing. Our aim is to always make the process as clean as possible.

What are your opening times?
Our opening and production times are Monday-Saturday 9:00AM - 5:30PM
What are your turnaround times?
Our turnaround time is usually 1-3 Working Days. E6 Slide processing is generally run once a week so turnaround may be slightly longer.
How do I receive my Digital Scans from your WeTransfer service and do you return my negatives?
We will send your Digital Scans to the email address you have provided on the online order form and you can select if you require your negatives to be returned during the order process.
How do I send my film?
Sending your film is easy. Please refer to the film page you require for step-by-step instructions - only three steps and you're done.
Can you push my films?
Yes, on special request. (add this as a comment on your online order).
Do you offer bulk discounts?
Yes, we certainly do! Please email us for a quote.
What equipment do you use?
We use state of the art Noritsu film processors and Fuji Frontier Wet Lab Printers.
What papers do you use?
We have a choice of Fuji C-Type Professional Lustre or Fuji Glossy.
What happens if my film comes out blank?
We really hope this doesn`t happen but if it does then we only charge you for the development of your film.
How long are my We-Transfer files stored for?
You have a week to download your files but don’t worry we also keep your files stored for one month.

Although we now live in a digital age, it is important to ensure that the history of photography and its original processes are not forgotten. Along with Black and White processing, we also continue to offer our C41 film processing services. Film processing has always been at the heart of DS Colours Labs and although the company has expanded since 1954, our C41 film processing services continue to thrive.
Each film that we receive is treated with the utmost importance and respect, and we take the time to understand the individual requirements of each of our customers. We process most formats including 35mm, 120, APS, 110 and 126 films and also offer further scanning services should you require them.

PLEASE NOTE: When arranging the delivery of your film to us, please ensure the correct postal price is paid. Most parcels will be sent as a large letter or small parcel via Royal Mail.
