Include your full name and Order ID, then post your film to DS Colour Labs Ltd, 720 Wilmslow Road, Didsbury, Manchester M20 2DW.

We take it from here

Your scans will be sent digitally and your negatives returned according to the options selected.

Still processing a format others have left behind

APS may now be a discontinued film format, but we are still able to process your old stock. If you have rolls tucked away in a drawer or rediscovered an old camera, our lab team can help bring those images back to life.

Our APS service includes development with 6×4 photographic prints, with the option to add standard-resolution digital scans for easy sharing and archiving.

Film Processing FAQ

Everything you need to know before sending your film

What are your opening times?

Our opening and production times are Monday–Saturday, 9:00AM–5:30PM.

What are your turnaround times?

Our turnaround time is usually 1–3 working days. Delivery time is additional and depends on the delivery method selected.

How do I receive my digital scans, and do you return my negatives?

If you select digital scans, they are sent to the email address supplied on your online order. Your processed APS film is returned according to the delivery option selected.

How do I send my film?

Sending your film is straightforward. Follow the step-by-step instructions on the relevant film processing page and complete the online order before sending your film to us.

Do you offer bulk discounts?

Yes. Please email didsbury@dscolourlabs.co.uk for a quote.

What equipment do you use?

We use Noritsu film processors and Fuji Frontier wet-lab printers.

What papers do you use?

We offer Fuji C-Type Professional Lustre or Fuji Glossy photographic paper.

What happens if my film comes out blank?

If your film comes out blank, we only charge you for the development of the film.

How long are my WeTransfer files stored for?

You have one week to download your files. We also retain the files for one month.

Place your order online, package your film securely with your order details, then leave the processing, scanning and return delivery to us.

Place your order online

Order through our website on desktop or mobile, choose your processing options, and check your email for confirmation and your Order ID.

We take it from here

Sit back while we process your film. Your negatives will be returned by post, or your digital scans will be sent to you by WeTransfer, depending on the options selected.
